What is collision detection?
When your teammate opens a conversation and starts typing, you'll see a real-time "typing" indicator on your end — just like iMessage, but for your entire team inbox.
How it works
The system uses WebSocket presence channels. As soon as a team member focuses on the reply box, a subtle avatar badge appears on the conversation card for all other agents — preventing accidental double-replies.

Collision detection is live for all Growth and Scale plan customers. No setup required.
Is collision detection on the Starter plan?
It's included on Growth and Scale only. Starter teams can upgrade anytime from billing settings.
