How to set up WhatsApp Business API in 10 minutes

The WhatsApp Business API unlocks shared team inboxes, automated replies, and broadcast campaigns. Here's how to go live in under 10 minutes using ApnaInbox.

Step 1: Create a Meta Business account

Head to business.facebook.com and create a Meta Business account if you don't already have one. This is required for API access.

Step 2: Request WhatsApp API access

Inside Meta Business Manager, go to WhatsApp > Getting Started. Submit your business verification documents. Approval typically takes 1–2 business days.

Step 3: Connect to ApnaInbox

Log into ApnaInbox, navigate to Settings > Channels > WhatsApp, and paste your Phone Number ID and Access Token from Meta. Hit Save.

Step 4: Test a conversation

Send a test message from your personal WhatsApp to your business number. It should appear in your ApnaInbox inbox within seconds.
